*December 14: I am officially done with my calendar! Woo hoo! Now time to get working on my christmas card to send it out, haha. We made it to the chapter title page this week, I have a lot of fun drawing Lavendar, despite everything :p I also got to play with some Chinese fonts, which since I usually work in Japanese was pretty interesting (the fonts don't carry over for all the symbols). *November 23: Winter has been showing its ugly mug, urgh! I am not liking this cold :/ We had a couple warmer days this weekend, but with it brings snow! At least the work week is short because of Thanksgiving. My family doesn't celebrate it in a usual sense, but we do make food and eat it :p (turkey included). *October 12: Working hard on getting things ready for YoumaCon. Overwhelmed like usual, lol. Started teaching up again which both helps and doesn't help at the same time. I also admit, I've probably been spending more time at night playing games than I should :p In any case, the update for this week still was normal days~ Going to work hard to keep that pattern up! If they don't fix it after con season, might actually move my webcomic :/

*September 1: AHAHAH! Whooopsie. I totally let the news updates on this site get backed up. Instead of uploading them all here (since nothing major, and all the pages went up fine), just gonna disregard them and start back up now :p Sorry about that! Hope ya'll enjoyed the pages despite the news XD (Do people even really read this anyways :p ) Anyways, new chapter, back to having to draw pages each week, too! Just got a new job which is probably going to KILL any free time, BUT not sure how long I will stay with it. At least this week (because of the holiday), I got the pages done on track :D I'll do my best to keep up with them, like always~! My next con is RamenCon, just in a couple weeks! *May 11: Happy Mother's Day to all the lovely mothers out there! My mother has been super supportive of me throughout the years, especially with Zos Kias. I never would have come this far without her <3

*May 4: Had a cosplay event today, best way to start off the week! Having these pages going up by themselves is helping me a lot! My books should be here shortly, just in time for ACen. I'm looking forward to it~! Book 4 got a revised edition, too! so it's coming with book 8. Anyways, that's all for now!

*April 27: I had a great time in Seattle! So much I saw, so much I ate! Oh my gosh, the best crab cakes ever are from a place called Lowell's in Pikes Market. I seriously want to order some of them, but yeah, not happening. Guess I just hafta go back, lol? *March 2: The new edition of vol 3 of Zos Kias has been paid for and should be getting to me within the next couple weeks! I can't wait to see it all nice and cleaned. I'm working on getting Desert Tracer redone now (it's getting some new content), so they'll be a break on Zos Kias books until volume 8, which hopefully will be ready around May. *February 23: Thank ya'll so much for all the support at NWI Comic Con. I was surprised at the attendance, and very pleased with the sales =v= Met a lot of GREAT people there! Everyone was so nice. *August 11: I tried so hard, but had to go to one page for this past week and this week cause of Otakon and a back lock of commissions. *July 28: Sorry for that weird delay in there :p I ended up only doing one page per week since between Ikasucon, and then having a friend stay the week, it was a bit hard to get time to get them done, but I didn't want to neglect my friend. But, plus side, look, I'm back to normal! Hahaha! This weekend is just the Bon Fest at Mitsuwa, so nothing fancy, shouldn't be any delays. And then next week is Otakon, so um...we'll see what that does for the pages! They will get done, regardless! See ya next week XD

*December 2: Here comes winter...although, it's been a pretty nice weekend so far. Today's weather, loving it! Why can't it be like this all winter, lol! Chicagoland weather is not always so nice! *September 29: Well, ManekiNeko Con was sorta a huge flop. I mean, I was able to cover my expenses plus some, but the con was super disorganized, and the Artist Alley was totally disconnected from the rest of the con, so we really didn't get much exposure >.> I mean, out of the 31 pictures I got, only like 6 are of people that are not me or Jinx, lol. *September 23: Had a blast at RamenCon! So many thanks for everyone who came out and supported me! I did sell out of volume 2 of Zos Kias, even! *July 22: Oooh, lookie, the new website is up! Just in time for Otakon <3! There are still some features I'll be adding later, so please be patient with me as I get them all together. *April 22: Volume 6 is coming in this week, just in time for ACen~! The size got changed, but I had to stick with Lulu for printing for the time being, so the price will be the same. I'm going to start resizing all the previous volumes down as well, too, when I have to reprint them. This way though, they will fit on bookshelves better, haha. I'll keep ya'll updated with what goes on in the future. Hopefully we can get things back to some semblance of normal, lol. *April 1: Well, it's April Fool's Day! But, I'm not gonna play any tricks on ya'll, no worries, lol. Too much effort! I'm still hurting from a day at the gym, and don't want to do much, lol. I'm finally taken to getting all of the pages done up for volume 6. Got like another 4 more to draw, then only like 8 of them to color, so we should be good for the release date as first assigned. *March 25: Wow, it's been a carazy weekend, but it was soo much fun! RamenCon had its first pre-event of the year, so I headed down to Lafayette for that. It was a rather eventful trip down, especially with the pouring rain, but we got there in time, and in one piece. Then after that, it was a day up in the opposite direction, for sushi and Japanese books~! I loved hanging out and relaxing for a change. So no more time for that now! Gonna get really hardcore working on Zos Kias, to get it out for ACen, lol. I've got several weeks, at least <3 So, back to work I got! See ya next week!

*February 19: The "Create Your Own Villain" contest is off to a good start! The second entry is already in, and I love seeing what people are coming up with! The story is progressing though, and I'm trying to get pages done ahead so I can get the release out in time for ACen. Be on the look out for preorders opening soon, as well~! *February 12: I've been looking around for a new printer for books. After talking to everyone, it looks like everyone's okay with the size change, which is nice. I might be able to lower the cost a bit, too, which will be fun, or at least give better discounts. I'll probably try reformatting volume 5 into the new format this coming week to makesure it will work, before I decide either way. Volume 6 is set to debut at ACen in April, and preorders should open for it in March. I'll keep you up to date on it. Don't forget, I'm taking fan submissions for it~! *December 25: Happy holidays everyone! Are ya'll having a good Christmas? My family's a tad dysfunctional, so things have been....um...interesting, lol. But, I got to see my lil sis, which was awesome, and even some friends I haven't seen in years! A haha~! I got back from the family's faster than expected, so I got a pretty good start on the pages, and they are on time despite things! Next weekend is New Year's and Friday night, I'll be spending the time up in Chicago-area with friends for a night of karaoke! (soo looking forward to it!) I've gotten to work on the 2012 Manga Calendar, which, of course, will feature art from Zos Kias! This time, Zos Kias will get three months, so be on the look out for your chance to get it! I was gonna get a good start on the pages Sunday night, but I was so tired, I just spent the night trying not to fall asleep on Kotarou as we were watching Ghost Hunt. I'm moving pretty fast though, so the delay will be minimal. Sorry about that, I just totally overworked myself at the convention this weekend! *August 14: Next weekend is RamenCon, and I have a busy week of work and preparations ahead of me! But at least not a long car ride ahead for a change, haha. I should be pretty easy to find in Artist Alley, since my table is pretty up close, and the AA is pretty small. I'll be right next to Ranefea, too (like usual when we're at cons together, lol). Stop by and say hi~! I'm hoping there will be no real delay on the pages, since, well, I'll have part of Sunday to work on it, and should have all of Monday (since my work is still scheduled for that day off). It was a crazy weekend, and I really wanna thank everyone who supported me in Artist Alley <3 I had a lot of fun talking with ya'll, too, and meeting new people as well as seeing some old faces. I was just totally rushed for time on everything D: Plus side, my next con, RamenCon, is close to home, so most likely, there will be no delay, even with the con eating my time. We'll be Nami and Luffy Friday and Saturday, with different versions, and tentatively it's MiXiM11 on Sunday, though it sounds like Komi might wanna switch it up, lol. *July 10: Weee, been spending some time with medical tests and the like, but at least my problems this time look to be managed (for now). I've had a pretty crazy weekend, and well, it's just getting crazier! I'm getting the pages done at least, so that's all good. Don't forget, Otakon is coming up at the end of this month! I'll be there in Artist Alley, at table W02. I'll be sharing with my friend Kat (her table was next to mine at AZ this year). *June 26: Dun dun dun, Kazehiko and Lily are headed off to London~! The storyline this time will follow them, just for a short bit though. *June 19: Hahaha, fell behind on the news updates again. But, well, I'm officially out of the pages that I had done up ahead of time, so I'll be doing them weekly again, which means less hiccups in that regard. I'm thinking I may need to redo the website for this short, so if ya'll have any ideas, please let me know! In celebration of Zos Kias' upcoming 5th year anniversary, I'm holding a small trivia contest! You can find more information about it on DeviantArt! Everyone who scores 80% or higher, and lets me know, will get entered in a drawing for some big prizes! Not sure how long I will keep it open, but this way I have more time to work on other things, lol. *May 29: Uuugh, been so super busy with all the cons back to back. But, I'm trying to get this update done so at least there is something, lol. This year, I'm doing a character auction of sorts each month, using the Zos Kias characters. January is Light, and you can check out my DA page for more info. The winner will get a free pic of the character of that month with their choice of another character (can be ANY character, themselves, an OC, another ZK, etc). *December 26: Happy Holidays, everyone! Whether you celebrate Christmas, Kwanza, or whatever holidays pop up around this time, I wish you the best! The updates are going through as normal, and the story continues. I plan on starting a new Zos Kias contest after the beginning of the next year, so look out for news on that! I'm gonna hafta temporarily pull back orders of the current complete sets of Zos Kias, since I'm out of my stock of volume 2 and only got one of volume 4 left ^^; I'll be reordering more shortly, but it won't be until next year (which is like what, a week?). Anyways, next week is New Year's, so I expect it to be pretty busy, but I'll see ya'll then anyways!

*December 19: The updates for the pages went through while I was at BishieCon, so no delays~! For those of you who follow me on DA, I got an artist alley table there at super last minute XD So, yah, I was in AA, haha. Thanks for all those who came out and supported me <3 I had a blast! We went to the Chiba Madison 20th anniversary event, which was pretty fun (I dragged Panda-chan along with me, lol). And we also went to the pot luck party afterwards. But, my gosh, I'm sooo exhausted afterwards, but it was worth it! The winners of the contest, btw, were 1st to FinalHikari and 2nd to Kazehiko! ChibiChump got a special judge's award, too. *July 25th: Starting next weekend, I've got three conventions back-to-back, so it's going to get a bit crazy. There's quite a variety of students in my class, and we already started working on storylines for the manga they will be creating in my class. *March 7: Is it spring yet!? Well, I should be switching jobs, pretty shortly, fuu. It's another part time, but at least it's in my field (at that place I had the contract with over last fall). *November 15: Thanks so much to everyone for the birthday wishes! It meant a lot to me~! These pages this week weren't too bad, but work is still getting in the way, sheesh. AnimeCrossroads is next weekend, so if you are gonna be there, stop by and say 'hi'! I'll be in AA, like usual, with Zos Kias, but I've only got half a table. Still, that pink table cloth shouldn't be too hard to find XD Anyways, I'll see ya next week! Expect teh updates a bit delayed, too, due to con~!

*November 8: Ugh, uuugh! My new part time job is slowly killing me. I'm amazed I made it through the first week, and the second week is looking even scarier...the only solace is that Friday I'll get to spend sometime with friends and family after work, to celebrate, sorta, lol. Well, I'm still managing to get the pages done, sorta, and evenough. I'll see ya next week!

*November 2: Back from YoumaCon, and it was a blast! But most surprising was that I nearly sold out of volumes 2 and 3 of Zos Kias (I had printed less than 1 to begin with), and I also sold a good deal of volume 1. Thank ya'll so much <3 I love knowing that people are enjoying this enough to read it and buy it! I start work a bit later today, 30 hour work week, ugh. But, I think I'll have both of the pages up by tonight anyways. Catch ya next week!

*October 25: Well, I made a surprise appearance at Geekkon on Saturday, lol. It was fun, though the con was small (and no artist table, of course). Komiko and I actually did masquerade, lol! *August 17: Well, I got off to a slow start, but both updates are up and it's still only Monday, lol. *July 26: Back on track for updates this week. YAY~! I've got sooo much to do @_@ And of course, I'm impatiently awaiting to hear back from my job interview. I'm going to start working on getting volume 3 together, since I intend the release to be at the end of August. I should have it in time for MatsuriCon. *June 7: I FINALLY got around to adding the Zos Kias: Palace of the Cranes game to the multimedia section! So, for all of you who never got a chance to play it and want to, there it is~! I might be doing some changes with it later on, but for now, that's what I'm going with. We reach 300 pages this week, woo hoo (technically 302). But, wow, sooo many...explains why my binder is so fat ^^; But, we'll be closing up this chapter next week and starting the next. -December 24, 2007- Happy Holidays, everyone! Tonight is Christmas Eve, and as a present to all of you...I got some volunteers together and we created a Zos Kias Drama CD! Also, with the onset of break means my work is off for that month, too, and I'll need to find other ways to make that money up to cover my car insurance and my new car. -June 09, 2007- I'm extending the third contest a little longer (til the 14th). But, since this contest was just something to help me fill the gap between contests, it's nothing fancy, and I'm not too worried about it. Also, I'm no longer accepting preorders for Zos as I will have the books in hand next week! Yay~! Thank you guys so much for all your support! There will be a new contest coming soon! I'll be leaving for Japan next Saturday for a month, but hopefully, since I have all the next several weeks of pages drawn up, ZK will still keep on going! I also had to redo the shoutbox since that site it was given from is kinda...dead.~Kojika

-May 29, 2007- Well, Zos Kias is still at the publishers (there were some problems..), but I got the proofs in today and they told me I would have the actual books sometime next week! So, this is the last week for preorders! If you want to get it with a free bookmark, act now! The first con that it will be sold at should be Jafax, but I will be the one member of Pink Door Inc who won't be attending (so Sakura is handling sales there). Otakon and Ikasucon are next, so look out for it there, too! I will be in Japan for a month coming up, but I'm hoping to get enough pages done to allow me to keep this going while I'm over there. I'll let you guys know more about that though when it gets a little closer (still 3 weeks away). I've added a new poll for you guys to vote on favorite characters! And, please don't forget about this contest! The next contest is the one I'm really looking forward to! Have a great summer~! ~Kojika

-May 7, 2007- Alright, AnimeCentral this weekend! And, look..I added a new feature...the shop link! Why,.,.? Cause Zos Kias volume 01 is at the publishers~! That's right, you can now own it in physical form! Thanks so much for all your support! After ACen, I have Animazement which will be the first official con that Zos Kias will be sold at! -April 18, 2007. Wee~! Another con this weekend! Con season has started~! Anime St Louis this weekend, then ACen and Animazement in May. I should have artist table at all of them, so if you're there, give me a holler! I'm looking forward to drawing next week's pages. Hee hee! -Dec 12, 2006. Ah yes...finals week. Joy. Still got one final left to go (two of my classes didn't even have one luckily), then comes the holiday rush of getting all those holiday pictures done! But, luckily, I'm managing everything all right and getting things done. Zos Kias is having it's second contest which you can see more about in the Gallery section! Thanks and congrats to all those who entered and those who won the logo contest~! Your Kaze-kun prints are on the way! -Nov 24, 2006. Happy Thanksgiving everyone~! Sorry I haven't posted any news lately...I've been extremely busy! I'm now working three jobs, plus taking on comissions, and helping out with two other webcomics. At least I'm managing to keep Zos Kias up ^^; (but if it gets too hard, I may have to drop it down to one page a week). Please be patient with meh! ~Kojika

YoumaCon in Troy, MI from Nov 3-5, and AnimeUSA in Virginia Nov 17-19! Look for Pink Door Inc to find me! But if not, you can always try to look for me in my cosplay! (see Darker Side of Destiny for cosplay). I'd love it if you would stop and say Hi~! Eventually, I'll probably do a Zos cosplay with some of my friends X3 ~Kojika

I think I finally figured out how to get my html working, so enjoy the new format X3 I may eventually change it, but for now, I'm keeping it simple and easy to manage as I want to spend more time on the actual manga work than the html! Haha! But, I also have a forum for Zos now, though there's not much up there yet. Please feel free to join and make it merry! Chapter 2 is coming to its end! - Oct 12, 2006, Zos Kias has left its previous host, Project Yume-mitai, and is now invading Comic Genesis instead! I'm going to try and get everything up as quickly as I can, but take note that regardless of what I do, I have a 56k modem and around 3 hours to do everything I need to do. So, please bear with us as we get this site entirely functional! And, sorry for the late updates this week~! I didn't want to post them til I had this site semi-functional...The forum link may never be active (as I might swap it out for something later), but depending on how Zos Kias is by the end of this month, I may make a forum for it. ~Kojika
